The Future is in the bands of the youth and through the organization of this hip-hop jam we hope to get young people involved in a culture that promotes creativity, community, and cooperation.
THE FUTURE is an opportunity for the Santa Fe hip hop community to collaborate with 2 internationally acclaimed breaking crews: Style Elements crew and Artson from the Rock Steady crew.
The 4 elements of hip-hop (breakdancing, emceeing, graffiti, and turntablism) we want to expose youth to a productive outlet for their energy and struggles. Involvement in hip-hop encourages confidence, self-esteem and discipline.
